I am currently Chief Correspondent for "Inside Edition" and frequent guest host of CNN's "Larry King Live."

As an attorney, I reported extensively on numerous criminal trials including the Scott Peterson double murder trial and daily reports on the Michael Jackson child molestation trial, for which I also served as a legal analyst for many broadcast and cable networks. In addition to my work for the newsmagazine, I have appeared as a guest on more than 250 cable news programs in 2009 alone as both a commentator and guest host for various programs on CNN and HLN.

I have covered several high-profile trials, including the Anna Nicole Smith paternity hearing as well as the Paris Hilton DUI trial. In addition, I conducted jailhouse interviews with convicted murderer Susan Polk and extensively followed the Phil Spector trial, obtaining exclusive footage and interviews of Spector and his assistant, as well as an exclusive interview with his wife and a private tour of his castle.

As an entertainment reporter, I have covered numerous premieres and celebrity stories for Inside Edition, as well as all the major entertainment events including the Emmys, Golden Globes and the Academy Awards.

Before joining "Inside Edition," I was with CNN for nearly a decade, serving as co-anchor of the long-running "Showbiz Today," as well as co-anchor of CNN's main newscast, "The World Today," and anchor of CNN's "NewsNight."

I anchored many breaking news stories and live events during my tenure at CNN, including the terrorist bombing of the USS Cole and the 2000 Democratic National Convention. I also guest-hosted "Larry King Live" more than two dozen times and was permanent guest host of CNN's legal affairs show, "Burden of Proof." I also served as chief anchor for CNN"s gavel-to-gavel coverage of the O.J. Simpson criminal trial, and anchor and analyst for Simpson's civil trial.

After leaving CNN, I hosted a series of specials for ABC-TV, and, for three years, co-hosted the Academy Awards pre-show for the network. I have also guest anchored the "KTLA Morning News" in Los Angeles, and Fox 5"s "Good Day New York."

I began my television career at KABC-TV as a legal and general assignment reporter. I then worked as a reporter for KCBS-TV and eventually was named anchor of the station's morning newscast. I moved to 20th Television's "Personalities" as Senior Correspondent, before co-hosting "EDJ-Entertainment Daily Journal."

I have been a visiting professor at UCLA, where I taught a course in the Department of Communication Studies. I live in Los Angeles with my wife and our three children.
